Books

There are numerous books written for and about postpartum issues, baby issues, depression, anxiety and interpersonal issues. The best way to see what's available is to go to Amazon.com and search books in a particular category. There you can generally see what others had to say about the book and usually peruse it's content. Here I list a few of my favorites.

  • "This Isn't What I Expected: Overcoming Postpartum Depression" by Karen Kleiman
  • "The Postpartum Husband: Practical Solutions for Living With Postpartum Depression" by Karen Kleiman
  • "Momma Zen: Walking the Crooked Path of Motherhood" by Karen Maezen Miller and available at www.shambhala.com.
  • "A Different Kind of Perfect: Writings by Parents on Raising a Child with Special Needs" edited by Dowling, Nicoll and Thomas
  • "Solve Your Child's Sleep Problems" by Richard Ferber
