Navigating the Postpartum Highway

Mother and newborn

Nothing turns your world upside down like having a baby. Whether it is your first or your fifth, planned or unplanned, birthed or adopted, it is a life altering event that will greatly impact your body, your emotions, your relationships, and the daily rhythm of your life.

Women often neglect themselves when they become mothers. While self-sacrifice may feel good for a while it can eventually hurt you, your baby and others close to you.

So whether you have recently given birth, adopted a child or are worried about someone close to you, don't hesitate to call me at (631) 793-0870. Consultations are always free and confidential.

My mission as a mental health professional specializing in postpartum issues is to:

  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment where feelings can be shared, and thoroughly explored.
  • Help alleviate symptoms of stress and depression as quickly as possible
  • Provide helpful information about the postpartum experience
  • Provide support to all family members including couples counseling
  • Help new moms regain their balance and sense of self
